How It All Begins
It was a cool Saturday evening.
Exactly 3:30pm to be precise large crowd of youth gathered under the big belebo
tree in the center of Akongah Kingdom.
The convener of the gather was
omene, the youth leader.
“Everybody sit down! Sit down
everyone” shout alma the community youth P.R.O. Within some minutes, every
where was calm and at exactly 4:00pm, the youth chairman who was sitting in the
middle of the gathering stood up to address the audience of more than 280 youth
eagerly waiting to hear what the message is for them.
My youth! My Youth!!
Authoritatively mentioned by omene, for long we have been waiting for this day
to come. And finally darkness has fallen and the truth is going to start
revealing.
We have been living among our
enemies and we never knew. We must handle this matter headlong now otherwise a
day like this, an opportunity like this, a fruitful moment like this may never
come.
Remember that I have always coordinated
you to flight with other youths in the surrounding communities in this kingdom,
I was practically wrong! I did the wrong thing. I felt sorry now. I have come
to realize that they were using me to reduce our population. We don’t have
youth in our great kingdom any more our communities lack vibrant youths. Even our
neighbors are all fill up with the elderly and older people.
I held a meeting with Anam the Chairman
of Akogah Kingdom recently and told him that we will soon experience a change
of lifestyle in this kingdom, but he never understood what I meant.
At this point, Omene Hailed the
youth saying “Great youth” – and the youths answers – ‘Power’ the darkness has fallen and
the truth is going to be gradually revealed”, said Omene who was still Talking unexpectedly!
Abubakar led number of Vigilante group to disrupt the peaceful meeting convene
by the youth leader, Mr. Omene.
Halt! Stop this meeting
proclaimed Abubakar the community defense chairman; you must stop this gartering
now as it is posing insecurity to this community. As the CDC of this Kingdom, I
don’t want this meeting to continue. No! No!! No!!! Shouted Omene in hesitation
to Mr. Abububakar’s order. Great youth of Akogah Kingdom the youth answered
“power”!!! Do you want us to stop this meeting now? The youth answered No… are
you not fed up with the system of Government in this community? The youth
answered Yes…. Omene continues the hardworking farmers sustaining the community
with their fool products are youth …….. Others! YES. The vigilante group and
civil defense are youth YES! Any area manpower and hard work is needed in this
kingdom, they call for the youth presence…. YES
The youth says no! we will not
succumb this time many tomorrow have gone. We will not wait for another
tomorrow to come before the youth become leaders. Others shouted you spoke well
