Q: Why Was The Group Set Up?
Agbonlahor:
A: To enhance quick recognition by the
government and other great establishment that would like to assist us by means
of sponsoring our farming projects.Although, the vision of the
Nigeria Cooperative sector is to promote the members entrepreneurial capacities so that they can
generate adequate surpluses for themselves and create opportunities for
economic progress.

A: In Nigeria

Q: What group does your organization belong?
Agbonlahor:
A: Our organization is a non
political, religious or cultural society. It is a co-operative society.

Q: Give A Brief Narration Of Your Group
Agbonlahor:
A: Gofta farmers group today is the
upshot of a group formed just four years ago, known as Gods Favor Traders
Association.
Gods favor in its initial beginning
had just eleven members (traders) to its credits. But as the intention of this group started to
be visible to all, many out looker started trouping in. this led to the
certification of this group by the ministry of commerce. Edo State, as Gofta
Multi-Purpose Co-operative Society Limited.
After the inauguration of the group
to a fully certified co-operative society limited by the chief co-operative
officer, this group automatically became known as Gofta Multi-Purpose
Co-operative Society Limited.
Some great men
and women of honor and inestimable value that assisted the group one way or the
other were honored by the group either as patron, matron, special advisers or
adviser on communications.

Q: What Are You Basically Into?
Agbonlahor:
A: We are into Agricultural
development program basically the cultivation, processing, packaging and marketing
of all cassava products.

Q: What Will You Do If I/We Support You With Some Incentives?
Agbonlahor:
A: We would appreciate if we can get
them as soon as possible. Mostly now that we ride into our next planting season
which starts from March/April 2015.
The co-operative society being a
safe place for majority of the less privileged ones among us, has a number of
people who has already benefited from this Goftagroup organization. Because of
the needs of many others, we are prompt to request for help from you. We promise
you that majority of those to benefit from this gesture will be Farmers and
others who are small scale entrepreneurs.

Q: What Is Co-Operative Society, If I May Ask?
Agbonlahor:
A: Co-operative society is an
organization that runs democratically. And the interest of her members is what
the executive strive to meet up with. On this ground, collectively, the
financial members will be able to meet up with any financial constrain the
group might face when the ship arrives. But as regarding custom clearance, the
society is duty free.
